When was following our goals and dreams ever easy?
Can we be honest with ourselves? When was following our goals and dreams ever easy? We always hope for it to be, as much as possible, but finding everything we need in order to just start a business isn’t a overnight process, now is it. Your dreams and goals form over a matter of years and most of the times aren’t based on quick decisions. In most cases they started at childhood, as you continued to grow so your passion for it either grew with you or it continued to change until you found something you felt like you were totally passionate about, which also took time and planning.
Consistency and Content.
Although it’s easy to think about being consistent but it’s not always easy to create a consistent flow of content. Some days, weeks and months are better than others and then you go blank and it becomes frustrating. Most of the times it’s just you reminding yourself to get out of your head, realize that you aren’t creating this for yourself, you are creating this for your audience, someone who might be in that place you were in when you first started and need a few pointers.
Not that you know it all but you know how frustrated you felt when you first started, how nervous you were to push that live button and all of the doubts that rushed to your head, that caused you to fear a little bit, so you did it and have built up some confidence, some knowledge, a following and the strength to endure and write about it! Believe me when I tell you that Someone out there Admires you for it.
Whatever you do, Don’t give up!
As I mentioned to start that It’s not easy, no one said it would be. You could come from a place where people know hot to do everything, yet it still wouldn’t come easy to everybody. The truth remains that you still have to work hard at what you want on life, whether it’s having kids, getting married, buying a house, having money or whatever it is you want it’s still something you have to make your mind up about and go after it with your whole heart, so Don’t give up on what you want but of course we must try to think wisely as much as we can.
A quick side story: at this time I’ve started this journey, hatched out a plan on a limited budget determined to give it my all, understanding that it’s not a sprint it really is a marathon, to get myself in a mindset of not trying to do so much at once, rather take time to enjoy what you are doing.
What I mean is, I started this journey with a $99 5 in 1 heatpress machine, a $70 vinyl cutting machine, a $50 Canon printer, a power station, design software that comes with the cutting machine and a small space to create, t-shirts, hats, gym bags, coffee mugs, realizing that content isn’t always about blogging, or podcasting, other things, it’s about showing your progress regardless, which reminds me of the thing we did in grade school Show & Tell for the times you don’t have much to say, you have something to show for it, so I feel like if you are going to spend all of your money on something it should be on something you have to show for it in a meaningful way.
